First Blog Assignment: Questions About Me as a Film Viewer

1.  The first movie that made a strong impression on me was the classic, Gone With The Wind. I love historical period movies, and this particular movie opened a whole new era of film. 

2.  Three or four of my favorite movie genres are...Classics, Drama, Historical and Romance movies.

3.  Three or four of my least favorite movie genres are...  Horror, Sci-fi, Teen and Fantasy movies.

4.  My five favorite films include Jane Eyre (The newest version), Gone With The Wind, Secret Life Of Walter Mitty, Marie Antoinette, and A League Of Their Own.

5. The three characteristics I consider necessary for a movie to good would be... an element in the film that makes you think, an ending that leaves a long lasting impression, and something about the film that makes it feel special to me.

6. My least favorite movies have to include Big Trouble In Little China, Jack and Jill, Project X (Only because of the ridiculous ending, however the rest of the film was awesome), 47 Ronin, and Boxing Helana

7.  The three characteristics that would deem a movie bad would be... cheesy scripting, over-complicated plot, and poor acting.

8. My favorite directs would have to be Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Tim Burton.

9.  My favorite actors/actresses include Michael Fassbender, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright.

10.  Three films that I think all people should see are Princess Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas and The Wizard Of Oz.

11.  My oldest favorite film has to be Gone With The Wind.

12.  The best movie that I have seen that has been released in the past two years is Les Miserables.

13.  The next five films that I plan on watching are Fault In Our Stars, The Notebook (Surprisingly I have never seen it) and 22 Jump Street.
